9/11 Ceremony & Exhibit

On September 11th, join us at 8:30 am at the Depot Pavilion in Liberty Park to mark the 23rd anniversary of September 11, 2001. The ceremony, held at 300 N. Apopka Ave, will begin with opening remarks from Mayor Bob Plaisted at 8:30 am, followed by a remembrance ceremony. This event provides an opportunity for the community to come together, honor the lives lost, and reflect on the resilience that emerged from these tragic events.
Following the ceremony, visit the Valerie Theatre from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm to explore an exhibit showcasing Florida's largest collection of 9/11 memorabilia, provided by the National Association of Retired Law Enforcement Officers (NARLEO). The exhibit, located at 207 Courthouse Square, features artifacts, photographs, and personal stories that commemorate the bravery of first responders and the enduring strength of our nation.
